Knut Rudberg's late challenge caught a SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Knut Rudberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Knut Rudberg hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Donostia came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl-Erik Norström could save by the left post. Skövde AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Gilbert Godefroid scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Erik Norström, making the score, 2-0. Chen Ao Fan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ferdinand Luca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Signoretti in the 47th minute of play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Donostia in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Norström saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Justino Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Knut Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kurt Hamrin hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Froilan Donostia sped through Skövde AIK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Erik Norström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Signoretti in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Norström prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
