Skövde AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Voicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Skövde AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Valentin Voicu scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Erik Norström, making the score, 2-0. Karl-Erik Norström was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Valentin Voicu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Voicu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Karl-Erik Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Voicu in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Lu Rong Yi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nofre Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Norström having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Baraxil Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Valentin Voicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Voicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Erik Norström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Voicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Valentin Voicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Norström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chen Ao Fan made a kick off. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Egídio Fernandez with Chen Ao Fan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes Skövde AIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Delmar Campello who took care of the corner kick. Johan Öman made a great header on VILLARREAL UNITED's corner, it was just that Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström managed to reach the ball for a save. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Erik Norström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Voicu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Voicu in the 69th minute of the match. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Voicu in the 70th minute of play. VILLARREAL UNITED's Gert Vesterberg was substituted for Hustaz Quijana. After taking down the ball on VILLARREAL UNITED's corner Delmar Campello fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Erik Norström quite easily take care of the ball. Egídio Fernandez got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Håkan Kruse. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Voicu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Nofre Madariaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Norström hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Valentin Voicu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the VILLARREAL UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Voicu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Skövde AIK booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nofre Madariaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Norström came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu. But to his dismay, Valentin Voicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Knut Rudberg hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jufran Van Landschoot in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the VILLARREAL UNITED players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
