The audience was convinced that Maximo Lico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eligijus Duseika was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Žalia Giria defense, Maximo Lico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eligijus Duseika. The FC Žalia Giria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eligijus Duseika should have stopped the shot. When Monte Hermoso Beach's Maximo Lico in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eligijus Duseika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Lico, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eligijus Duseika made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Lico in the 19th minute of play. Kipras Balčytis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Lorien having to interfere. In the 39th minute, one of FC Žalia Giria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Žalia Giria. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Monte Hermoso Beach. Maximo Lico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eligijus Duseika. 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Maximo Lico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eligijus Duseika. FC Žalia Giria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Lico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Lico to make the kick off. After 62 minutes of play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Maximo Lico made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eligijus Duseika was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Benjamin Arotza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Monte Hermoso Beach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Arotza couldn't finish the play. Eligijus Duseika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Bilintx went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute Maximo Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eligijus Duseika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Maximo Lico rounded FC Žalia Giria's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Lico in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Eligijus Duseika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Hodei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eligijus Duseika. That made the score 0-9 in the 84 minute of play. Eligijus Duseika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
