The throw-in from Juvenal Cunha in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Braga Junior FC's Ricardinho Paiva. Magno Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Paraíba in the 25th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Samuel Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Samuel Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
