Corrado Contestabile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 32nd minute. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Festuccia in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Andrea Pasciu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Amado Jordão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado Contestabile. Corrado Contestabile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Nayely got free with Corrado Contestabile in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hyblae FC's Eigirdas Burnickas, in the 46th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hyblae FC. Amado Jordão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eigirdas Burnickas's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Festuccia to make the kick off. Ferruccio Festuccia came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amado Jordão could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 66th minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nayely came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Jordão made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ferruccio Festuccia sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Gilberto Nayely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Contestabile was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Gilberto Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Nayely blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Contestabile having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 83rd minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Nayely scored 5-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corrado Contestabile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Corrado Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Donatello during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Raúl Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Hyblae FC's Zé Urbano got a free kick in the 94th minute. The supporters of Punk Fiction booed when Hyblae FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siniša Stjepanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Punk Fiction's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
