Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Matos Velhos's Jiang Qing Lin got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Candal in the 9th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike van Kampen having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Candal. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mike van Kampen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 25th minute of the match. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike van Kampen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Candal in the 36th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Candal in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Candal in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of play. Mike van Kampen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Candal in the 46th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrique Candal made a kick off. Heigo Luiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Lajos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike van Kampen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Matos Velhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Nietlisbach in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Nietlisbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
