Tarcisio Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Carlinhos Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Schmidt in the 22nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Tarcisio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Paranhos Ariranha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio Pena couldn't finish the play. If Carlinhos Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Paranhos Ariranha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Poças to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Schmidt in the 57th minute of the match. Paranhos Ariranha FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Maia in the 58th minute. Breno Braga made a great header on Paranhos Ariranha FC's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 61 minutes, Tarcisio Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranhos Ariranha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Pena in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Pena in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Cai Yi Guo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 76th minute. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Abel Maia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Germany. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarcisio Pena's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tarcisio Pena went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paranhos Ariranha FC fully deserved thier win.
