Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ovidio Frantzes, made in the 31st minute of the game. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jan Sierocki sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, The White Star WK's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Mariusz Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Mantzio. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 89th minute, Camilo Canor made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina.
