Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niks Mus got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute of play forced Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goalkeeper Trond Bjørheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Niks Mus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dum Dum Boys Athletics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Trond Bjørheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Trond Bjørheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Geromel in the 27th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Geromel in the 29th minute. Trond Bjørheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Trond Bjørheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Geromel in the 36th minute of play. Niks Mus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice moves David Eikelkamp could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Trond Bjørheim however easily saved by the left post. After 74 minutes Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trond Bjørheim quite easily take care of the ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niks Mus in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Niks Mus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niks Mus in the 80th minute of the match. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Trond Bjørheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Trond Bjørheim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's attentive Arild Thomassen managed to snatch the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
