The corner led Italy's Sigfrido Auletta to fire away a dangerous shot which Thibaut Courtois despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-6 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thibaut Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 44th minute of play. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

In the 58th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Thibaut Courtois throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Italy were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Tabachana F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. The corner ended in Zaccheo Andolina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois did a great save. Siricio Liotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tabachana F.C.'s zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
