Fodor Daniel had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Adam Arnista from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of play forced TS Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Jurand Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jurand Panasewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
