Bram Hulscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. Wilfried Stevens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Bosak went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Wilfried Stevens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ASV Muziekwijk's Douwe Ridder has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 55th minute. ASV Muziekwijk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Damir Pongrac scored to the left of an out of position Wilfried Stevens, making the score, 0-4. In the 59th minute, Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neven Culina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Wilfried Stevens made a huge save. ASV Muziekwijk's Wilfried Stevens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damir Pongrac got free with Wilfried Stevens in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Croatia's Damir Pongrac ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilfried Stevens. Wilfried Stevens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Croatia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ASV Muziekwijk.
