Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ryszard Pilipiec made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Janik Vogt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Stawiszyn the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. In the 8thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Maruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Kaznocha came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ryszard Pilipiec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ryszard Pilipiec sent off a good shot on target. After 32 minutes, Julian Kossakowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogoń Stawiszyn and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Germany made a substitution. Rolf Rothberg replaced Albin Holweck. In the 32nd minute, one of Pogoń Stawiszyn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pogoń Stawiszyn. In the 39th minute, Kazimierz Dylla made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Pogoń Stawiszyn booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kazimierz Dylla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Rolf Rothberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. After 58 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. The audience was convinced that Ryszard Pilipiec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Ryszard Pilipiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Maruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Ryszard Pilipiec notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Witold Gibowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Maruda to maneuver through the defense. Mieszko Bartelak hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 77th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Podolski having to make a save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Pilipiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Dylla in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 90th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
