Lucian Crețulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Codrin Ignat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC PunisherS™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Ignat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, AFC PunisherS™'s goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Lucian Crețulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucian Crețulescu was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Costin Ignătoiu made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Zmărăndache in the 31st minute of play. Lucian Crețulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codrin Ignat. Keld Paulsen was a little too slow when Codrin Ignat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eduard Ţopescu had several of the Denmark's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Keld Paulsen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lucian Crețulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 43rd minute of play. Teodor Zmărăndache kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luca Conta charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Conta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AFC PunisherS™'s Luca Conta got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lucian Crețulescu made a huge save. Lucian Crețulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 56th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Zmărăndache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucian Crețulescu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute Eduard Ţopescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luca Conta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. The supporters of Denmark booed when AFC PunisherS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Conta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Florin Hrandabur fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC PunisherS™'s protests and gave Florin Hrandabur a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AFC PunisherS™ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play.
