Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Kalatakaya F.C. from getting a goal against them. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jair Reinoso in the 19th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Vali Romoşan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalatakaya F.C. and the MIT Craiova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Galarza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 27th minute. The supporters of MIT Craiova booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Gutiérrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiberiu Caramarin was the one to do the kick off. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salomón Enríquez made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tonete Abaurre however managed to control. In the 69th minute, Recep Guftar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calistrat Madgearu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Moises Kelemen was substituted for Jair Reinoso. MIT Craiova's Fabian Geantă was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie.

Calistrat Madgearu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Lluterio went, in the 106th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kalatakaya F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
