Miguel Ángel Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Hotz in the 5th minute. LA LUZ F.C. were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Masters United F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Haitz took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Everardo Bidari heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Masters United F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after LA LUZ F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelio Cuarto took the corner. Masters United F.C.'s Herminio Frantzes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Ángel Torres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Domingo Clis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Bologna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florencio Rafe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Miguel Ángel Torres made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Martin Istad in the 25th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Domingo Clis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Enrique Bologna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30thth minute of the game Hans-Martin Istad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Rafe got free with Miguel Ángel Torres in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Ángel Torres made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Florencio Rafe sent off a good shot on target. Hans-Martin Istad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Ángel Torres having to make a save. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Rafe. 41 minutes into the match, Domingo Clis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Bologna. Masters United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Clis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 43rd match minute, Masters United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Ted to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Bologna having to interfere. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Dawid Rojek replaced Teobaldo Monico. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieguito Maradona to make the kick off. Dieguito Maradona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Ángel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Rafe in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Masters United F.C. got a corner. LA LUZ F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurelio Cuarto ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Aurelio Cuarto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Ángel Torres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 62 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Martin Istad came free, but Miguel Ángel Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dieguito Maradona. Dieguito Maradona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Enrique Bologna made a huge save. Miguel Ángel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Martin Istad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Frantzes in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Frantzes came free, but Miguel Ángel Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Hans-Martin Istad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans-Martin Istad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Britto in the 85th minute of play forced Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Masters United F.C.'s Aurelio Cuarto to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Ángel Torres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Enrique Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Britto in the 89th minute of play. If Nestoras Kabourakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The Masters United F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LA LUZ F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for LA LUZ F.C..
