After some careless play in the Rio Pardo MZC defense, Igor Cavalera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Guilherme Aparecido. The Rio Pardo MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Guilherme Aparecido should have stopped the shot. After 15 minutes of play, Rio Pardo MZC's Maximiliano Lalatu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alysson Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Guilherme Aparecido was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Cavalera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 19 minute of play. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Lago in the 23rd minute of play. Igor Cavalera in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Guilherme Aparecido, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Igor Cavalera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, Rio Pardo MZC's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Aparecido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cavalera. Maximiliano Lalatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alysson Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Berti in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Rio Pardo MZC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Enéas Lago hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Cavalera got free with Luís Guilherme Aparecido in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Lago in the 38th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfredo Siqueira hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Enéas Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alysson Rezende was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enéas Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Lalatu in the 52nd minute of play. Patrick Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Igor Cavalera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ogro F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Cavalera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Guilherme Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rio Pardo MZC made a substitution. Róbson Valladares replaced Manfredo Siqueira. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Adelino Antunes hit a great ball. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Dan Zimmermann replaced Thomas Lang. Ogro F.C.'s Nicko McBrain was substituted for Alex Van Halen. Adelino Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Guilherme Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The supporters of Rio Pardo MZC booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicko McBrain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Nicko McBrain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Guilherme Aparecido. Rio Pardo MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicko McBrain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. When Ogro F.C.'s Marco Minnemann in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicko McBrain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Guilherme Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Rio Pardo MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Lago to maneuver through the defense. Marco Minnemann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Guilherme Aparecido having to make a save. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Nicko McBrain sped through Rio Pardo MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Guilherme Aparecido.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Rio Pardo MZC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ogro F.C..
