Geronimo Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Argi came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter. But to his dismay, Tivadar Demeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Trifan. Tivadar Demeter took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Argi. Geronimo Argi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mai Ping Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Arnold Szuper made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 43rd minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
