Leonard Treppa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Humberto Abascal in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tirant lo Blanch's Mohamed Guijarro. Kamal Pahlevi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hao Jian Yuan in the 12th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Carmona. Eduardo Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Treppa got free with Julian Ekhi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hao Jian Yuan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamal Pahlevi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Treppa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Hao Jian Yuan came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Dabi in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamal Pahlevi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kamal Pahlevi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Francescoli in the 38th minute of play. Kamal Pahlevi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hao Jian Yuan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Francescoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Enzo Francescoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamal Pahlevi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Kamal Pahlevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hao Jian Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hao Jian Yuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Kamal Pahlevi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Julian Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Treppa in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper Julian Ekhi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Humberto Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Prudencio Ralondo was substituted for Hao Jian Yuan. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Isaias Gerazan was substituted for Eustaquio Dabi. In the 67th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iván Arraz to maneuver through the defense. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Kamal Pahlevi made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Prudencio Ralondo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Tirant lo Blanch's zone, Prudencio Ralondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal Pahlevi came out of the goal and Prudencio Ralondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Prudencio Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Humberto Abascal, made in the 100th minute of the game. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Julian Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 101st minute of the match, managed to save Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb from getting a goal against them. Julian Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmen Paniagua in the 106th minute of the match.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Prudencio Ralondo did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. After 121 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Pitin Vallejo. Prudencio Ralondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 122nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamal Pahlevi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prudencio Ralondo ran back to his position shaking his head. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ralondo in the 122nd minute of play. In the 124thth minute of the game Prudencio Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 125 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tirant lo Blanch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Orlanda was slow to take the kick. During this time Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's players had a chance to rest. Fabian Tximitx kicked well hit freekick during the 127th minute of the match. When Tirant lo Blanch's Mohamed Guijarro in the 131st minute got a chance for a shot 131st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalie prevented a goal. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

Julian Ekhi had in the 134thth minute some difficulties stopping Carmen Paniagua's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 137th minute there was a penalty for Tirant lo Blanch. Pitin Vallejo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julian Ekhi. 2-2. The audience cheered when Fabian Tximitx's long shot passed Kamal Pahlevi's right side. It was 2-3, 138 minutes into the match. Tirant lo Blanch:s Julian Ekhi showed great skill when he stopped Ma Ming Quan:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, Kamal Pahlevi did a trick in the 145th minute in front of Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-3. An impressive performance by Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi! Many of Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb may have spent more time on the ball, but Tirant lo Blanch were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
