Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Walczak in the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulysses Madureira got free with Vladan Kovačević in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Godwin in the 18th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Vladan Kovačević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Morientes in the 19th minute of the match. The Olimpia HSB fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mitchell Godwins short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Vladan Kovačević to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladan Kovačević didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitchell Godwin went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fabian Czeszejko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Leguizamón having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Czeszejko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ariel Leguizamón got control of the ball when Jacek Pietrowiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ulysses Madureira started the play with his kick off. If Jacek Pietrowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 106th minute. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

Everyone could clearly see that both Olimpia HSB's and Clapham Comets F.C.'s players was becoming tired in their legs when Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. After some fancy dribbling in the 117th minute, Jacek Pietrowiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia HSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacek Pietrowiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Leguizamón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 121st minute, Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Leguizamón. Ariel Leguizamón yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Olimpia HSB's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
