DE COMERCIO got a corner. Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isaac Incendio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Isaac Incendio to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Crețu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber got control of the ball when Okan Koc tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Koc came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting a goal against them. Okan Koc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Gerber made a huge save. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sergio Mustafa sped through Stiinta-Univ.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Crețu. In the 23rd minute, Magne Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Mustafa in the 25th minute of the match. Seb Gentiletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming Sheng came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sergio Mustafa managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Mustafa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Crețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xian J.J. kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner. Aurel Panait went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Stiinta-Univ.'s Okan Koc to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredinho Gerber despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Okan Koc sped through C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfredinho Gerber.

The wind increased when Sergio Mustafa made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Aurel Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Benjamim Urbano with Aurel Panait as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Stiinta-Univ.'s Șerban Rușanu was substituted for Virgil Oargă. Stiinta-Univ.'s Muhammet Altın was substituted for Viteazul Flore. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO made a substitution. Salvador Romano replaced Sergio Mustafa. After 64 minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurel Panait who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalie and right to Șerban Rușanu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Martin Crețu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Romano in the 69th minute. 71 minutes in the game, Salvador Romano dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Salvador Romano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Crețu. The goal made the score 1-2. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Gentiletti didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Xian J.J. with Teodoro Nikola as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Altın in the 93rd minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Okan Koc advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 95th minute. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng started the play with his kick off. Alfredinho Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Okan Koc went, in the 104th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stiinta-Univ. fully deserved thier win.
