VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Voicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Nentakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Frits van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraxil Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half S.E. Pindorama Eagles were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frits van Gaal to strike the kick off in the second half. Baraxil Sarrate made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Frits van Gaal sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Voicu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vassilis Nentakis. Vassilis Nentakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Nentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Pacôme Daire came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Gert Vesterberg notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis. Vassilis Nentakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Vesterberg in the 75th minute of play. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Kaya in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacôme Daire in the 91st minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Vesterberg took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vassilis Nentakis. Vassilis Nentakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans cheered their team off the field, for while S.E. Pindorama Eagles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
