In the 16thth minute of the game Marquinhos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callegari's Telmo Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telmo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Callegari's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Telmo Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 21 minutes into the match, Clóvis Proença dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarbas Quadros, 1-0. Callegari were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after PREZULO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquin Isoba took the corner.
