After 2 played minutes Machu Picchu got a freekick which was hit by Hüsmen Samir. 4 minutes into the match, Machu Picchu's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Allbäck came free, but Ball Hold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ball Hold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 4th minute of play. Benny Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Canosa in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Allbäck got free with Ball Hold in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ball Hold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the last second Ball Hold throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leonard Åhman in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Xorxe Canosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benny Bur was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 24th minute of the match, Antonio Michael tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ball Hold saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Machu Picchu getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Xorxe Canosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machu Picchu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 31 minutes of play, Sledgehammer KO's Antonio Michael made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ball Hold was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 played minutes, Sledgehammer KO's Doctor Sócrates shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ball Hold came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sledgehammer KO reached it. Ball Hold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Michael's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Allbäck got free with Ball Hold in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ball Hold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doctor Sócrates in the 42nd minute. Ball Hold made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marcus Allbäck sent off a good shot on target. Benny Bur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xorxe Canosa went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xorxe Canosa was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leonard Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Hold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ball Hold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Michael in the 58th minute of the match. Marcus Allbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ball Hold having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Leonard Åhman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ball Hold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Machu Picchu made a substitution. Abuzer İmge replaced Hayrullah Özgun. Leonard Åhman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ball Hold having to make a save. Ball Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Machu Picchu's Grady Beckman was substituted for Ali Cengiz Rüşti. After a rather tough play, Machu Picchu's İsrafil Metin got a free kick in the 84th minute. 95 minutes in the game Abuzer İmge did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Xorxe Canosa. After 96 minutes, Xorxe Canosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machu Picchu and the Sledgehammer KO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Machu Picchu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xorxe Canosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The Machu Picchu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
