Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armandinho Pimenta started the match with the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidius Seyler having to interfere. Egidius Seyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Egidius Seyler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Regental's Lucas Jagow got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Palle Rösele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Palle Rösele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egidius Seyler. FC Regental's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FC Regental's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robin Lüpke in the 35th minute. FC Regental's Robin Lüpke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 42 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robin Lüpke who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Robin Lüpke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FC Regental's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Egidius Seyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egidius Seyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to FC Regental getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lucas Jagow hit a great ball. Egidius Seyler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 65th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egidius Seyler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the last second Egidius Seyler throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egidius Seyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes in the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Egidius Seyler having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Pimenta came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Egidius Seyler made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Meesters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egidius Seyler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Didico Jonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Regental's Didico Jonen got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
