AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 20th minute of play. Paul Vase made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gabriel Diaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Diaz in the 23rd minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Zacarias Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes Celta de Virgos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. Aureliano Karlo made a great header on AFC FUSION's corner, it was just that Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dündar Aynacıoğlu in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Karlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute AFC FUSION were awarded a corner. Dawid Beckham went to the cornerflag to take it. Dawid Beckham made a great header on AFC FUSION's corner, it was just that Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Celta de Virgos booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AFC FUSION's zone, David Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, David Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Aureliano Karlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Ascencio. Celta de Virgos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Karlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
