Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Ştiubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Buciumii getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luca Magherescu hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, FC Buciumii's Silviu Bârsan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Petru Plopeanu in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Ştiubei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 26 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelian Ştiubei was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Ştiubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 33rd minute of the match. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silviu Bârsan during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hungary made a substitution. Balazs Norbert replaced Balazs Lajos. Silviu Bârsan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buciumii's Laurențiu Taşcău. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Taşcău quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelian Ştiubei having to make a save. In the 52nd minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 56th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelian Ştiubei, 1-6. After having played for 70 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Hegedus Henrik put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. In the 79th minute, Hegedus Henrik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelian Ştiubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 85th minute of the match. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelian Ştiubei came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Aurelian Ştiubei in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
