Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Formentera's Blas Estevez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Geronimo Silviano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Txatxu. Geronimo Silviano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Formentera's Blas Estevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Txatxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blas Estevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Txatxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 25th minute of play. Astor Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Veto in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Q. T. I. were awarded a corner. Vladimiro Burutzagi went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 33rd minute, Blas Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu got control of the ball when Wilfredo Benvide tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Estevez in the 37th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Veronica was the one to do the kick off. Wilfredo Benvide hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Formentera's zone, Severo Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Aragones came out of the goal and Severo Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Silviano during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Silviano. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Estevez in the 61st minute of play. Formentera's Astor Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Chap in the 62nd minute of play. Astor Aragones made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Severo Veronica sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Wilfredo Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Blas Estevez came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 76th minute of play. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Formentera's 龙建烨 got a free kick in the 87th minute. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Astor Berart replaced German Veto. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龙建烨 didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Vladimiro Burutzagi from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Astor Aragones's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Q. T. I.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Formentera:s goal. The referee gave Formentera a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ernests Barsinēvičs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu. 4-0. Silverio Napier was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Silverio Napier hit a great ball.
