After 35 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franco Morelli who took care of the corner kick. After 35 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. In the 36th minute Alvin Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Candeias took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvin Nordström was the one to do the kick off. Armindo Candeias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Nordström in the 56th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Valeriani having to interfere. Aurelio Valeriani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aleschi FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Valeriani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Valeriani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Major Barna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Valeriani. That made the score 1-4 in the 78 minute of play. After 88 minutes Aleschi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Balazs Lajos advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-5 in the 89th minute. Aurelio Valeriani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
