After 4 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paw Nibelvang was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, Teddi Suutari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teddi Suutari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddi Suutari in the 11th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balazs Lajos might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paw Nibelvang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balazs Lajos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 played minutes FC Gamla Stan got a freekick which was hit by Markus Borten. After having played for 20 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balazs Lajos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paw Nibelvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Gamla Stan's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Paw Nibelvang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paw Nibelvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 34th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Quintero in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gamla Stan's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paw Nibelvang came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Gamla Stan booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakos Endre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Michel Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddi Suutari in the 40th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddi Suutari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vatan Nass came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Gamla Stan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vatan Nass couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Teddi Suutari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Gamla Stan getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Teddi Suutari hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Paw Nibelvang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paw Nibelvang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Paw Nibelvang in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Héctor Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Gamla Stan's André Bjørnstjerne got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 79 minutes into the match, FC Gamla Stan's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Paw Nibelvang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. FC Gamla Stan made a substitution. Morgan Niby replaced Teddi Suutari. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Morgan Niby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Morgan Niby made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Gamla Stan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Niby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paw Nibelvang. Paw Nibelvang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Gamla Stan were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
