CARVALHIDO
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zac O'Donnell started the match with the kick off. Aristides Gouveia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Higgins having to make a save. Aristides Gouveia took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aristides Gouveia sped through Scotland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. Bento Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Gouveia in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Shaw. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard-Dean Mărăcuță in the 25th minute of play. Alexander Higgins was a little too slow when Ferhat Bağdaş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 30th minute, Richard-Dean Mărăcuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scotland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Aristides Gouveia scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Higgins, making the score, 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert McNeill during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Aristides Gouveia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Higgins was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Ashton Nelson's late challenge caught a SC CARVALHIDO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ashton Nelson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC CARVALHIDO booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ashton Nelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Gouveia in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Gouveias short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Alexander Higgins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Gouveia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garth Shaw scored 6-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Gouveia in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Richard-Dean Mărăcuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC CARVALHIDO's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard-Dean Mărăcuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Gouveia in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Gouveia's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Radomir Szotek took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Gouveia in the 66th minute of play. Richard-Dean Mărăcuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Shaw in the 69th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, SC CARVALHIDO's Richard-Dean Mărăcuță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Szotek in the 78th minute of play. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Gouveia in the 79th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Garth Shaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Garth Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Gouveia in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Higgins saved Scotland from getting behind. SC CARVALHIDO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
