The crowd rose to their feet as Korona Kielce's Alex Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carol Stinga. That made the score 1-2 after 47 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alex Macedo made the kick off in the second half. Raimo Ülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Stinga in the 67th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Anton Stinga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimo Ülend was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Romania made a substitution. Alexandru Pangratiu replaced Alex Serban. Korona Kielce's Chesney Summers was substituted for Gabi Martinelli. Korona Kielce's Seb Hedges was substituted for Alex Macedo. 76 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Chesney Summers came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimo Ülend made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Octavian Vaduva sent off a good shot on target.
