Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but David Eikelkamp advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-6 in the 84th minute. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Showtime FC's Iván Comino did a great save. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Showtime FC throughout the match.
