Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when László Medgyesi kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game László Medgyesi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihály Földesi came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Csaba Lisztes's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Csaba Lisztes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Csaba Lisztes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihály Földesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Ebedli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gyál United's Mihály Földesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. Zoltán Ebedli charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoltán Ebedli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Zoltán Ebedli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Örs Szigligeti. Mihály Földesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Antal Valentin scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihály Földesi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Gyál United's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihály Földesi came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After having played for 46 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Bodnár in the 59th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihály Földesi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Gyál United's Mihály Földesi got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gyál United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Mihály Földesi, making the score, 0-6. 76 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Mihály Földesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mihály Földesi stood somewhat misplaced when Takacs Tibor came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 81 minute. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihály Földesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Hegedus Henrik took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Mihály Földesi to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goalkeeper Mihály Földesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihály Földesi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihály Földesi having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goalkeeper Mihály Földesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Takacs Tibor. Hungary played a much better game than Gyál United and deserved their victory. The Gyál United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
