Egídio Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Madureira made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sidney de Andrade immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Holub in the 13th minute of play forced THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's goalkeeper Álvaro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Fábio Paraibano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Henrich Slany was a little too slow when Fábio Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Henrich Slany made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Fábio Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Zigmund Maliar put in a rough tackle. 26 minutes into the match, Júnior Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Couto came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Fábio Paraibano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Fábio Paraibano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrich Slany, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Egídio Couto put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henrich Slany. When Júnior Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Paraibano to make the kick off. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Fábio Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narciso Nogueira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Álvaro Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Egídio Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Egídio Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Paraibano in the 70th minute of play. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes in the game, Egídio Couto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 79th minute Fábio Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Álvaro Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slovakia reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA had won after a very even match.
