Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. Egídio Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuele Kunz went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Samuele Kunz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Egídio Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Samuele Kunz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egídio Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 28th minute of the match. Rodrigo von Känel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Egídio Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA defense, Samuele Kunz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egídio Couto. The THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egídio Couto should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Egídio Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Couto came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer. But to his dismay, Jacinto Maurer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egídio Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuele Kunz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuele Kunzs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Egídio Couto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jacinto Maurer might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Maurer ran back to his position shaking his head. Egídio Couto was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Samuele Kunz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuele Kunz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Jacinto Maurer struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Egídio Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Switzerland. The long shot by Leo Allemann in the 67th minute really tested Egídio Couto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 69 minutes into the game, Jacinto Maurer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Egídio Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Maurer came free, but Egídio Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Couto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-11 in the ordered_time% minute. Gustav Iseli made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Samuele Kunz. 96 minutes into the match, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Maurer came free, but Egídio Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Switzerland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
