The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, Ulrich Stein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Stein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's Babbis Tolias got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babbis Tolias's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Tolias came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Dedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomasz Zaairi made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thalis Abaris however managed to control. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Tolias came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's Anthimos Nioras got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's Babbis Tolias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Tsoleridis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, 邵洲辰 made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Babbis Tolias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Babbis Tolias really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Tolias came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iosif Tsoleridis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Tsoleridis came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Babbis Tolias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, 邵洲辰 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邵洲辰 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Germany booed when ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Zaairi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Tolias in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, 邵洲辰 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Babbis Tolias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babbis Tolias might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Babbis Tolias ran back to his position shaking his head. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Tolias in the 97th minute of play. ΑΣΤΡΑΧΑΝ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
