Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Otto Fenomeno started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as 麦思亮 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hias Nüssli. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. When Jacinto Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Maurer couldn't finish the play. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Hias Nüssli didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Pieter-Maarten Vaes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bredene. Peter Bautmans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuele Kunz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. FC Bredene's 麦思亮 got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. After having played for 37 minutes, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuele Kunz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Maurer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Bautmans. FC Bredene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuele Kunz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuele Kunz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pieter-Maarten Vaes made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer. Samuele Kunz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Bautmans having to interfere. Timo Siegmund kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Fenomeno came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter-Maarten Vaes in the 63rd minute of play. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Pieter-Maarten Vaes made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Otto Fenomeno. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Pieter-Maarten Vaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bredene's supporters rose to their feet, but Pieter-Maarten Vaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pieter-Maarten Vaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 83rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Otto Fenomeno sped through Switzerland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter-Maarten Vaes in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Otto Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Fenomeno during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Bredene's Otto Fenomeno got a free kick in the 97th minute. Switzerland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
