The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sepsi OSK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Stefan Österlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Kasprzak hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Kasprzak was the one to do the kick off. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Stefan Österlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristi Ielciu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristi Ielciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristi Ielciu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sepsi OSK's Stefan Österlund got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liviu Stolniciu made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. In the 85th minute Barnaba Bartochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th play minute Frank Peletier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stefan Österlund. 0-2.
