Argentinos Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Algarrobo the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Igor Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Diego Armando Lamb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Bela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Lamb in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Diego Armando Lamb put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Bela. 23 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Cañas came free, but Pedro Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Diego Armando Lamb made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Bela. Argentinos Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. José Chilavert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Gonzales in the 29th minute. The Algarrobo fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Tomás Talamilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Diego Armando Lamb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Bela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 57 played minutes Diego Armando Lamb could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-9 into the left cross. Algarrobo's Wilfredo Marchetti was substituted for Rafael Nadal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Diego Armando Lamb sped through Argentinos Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Bela. After having played for 68 minutes, Wilfredo Marchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Marchetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70th play minutes Diego Armando Lamb shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Pedro Bela and just under the crossbar into goal. Diego Armando Lamb did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Pedro Bela 76 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Wilfredo Marchetti made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Bela. Argentinos Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. In the 86thth minute of the game Sven de Zwaan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobo's José Chilavert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Bela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. Diego Armando Lamb struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Bela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algarrobo. Diego Armando Lambs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Pedro Bela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Wilfredo Marchetti took a quick shot and it went in 0-18 without a chance for Pedro Bela to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Algarrobo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Argentinos Juniors.
