Leonel Gonzo scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doğan Alemdar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Scotland 1873's Breno Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziya Erdoğan in the 6th minute of play. Fazlı İçkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Arixo came free, but Doğan Alemdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Arixo came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Doğan Alemdar could save by the left post. In the 19th match minute, Kayserispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüdiger Stanke to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Scotland 1873 booed when Kayserispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulvahit Işılay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Akduman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Breno Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazlı İçkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Kayserispor got a freekick which was hit by Rüdiger Stanke. Doğan Alemdar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Breno Bastos came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Kayserispor's Yavuz Bülent Akduman. But to his dismay, Yavuz Bülent Akduman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Ziya Erdoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led to Scotland 1873's Isidoro Pelayo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

Rüdiger Stanke kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Casimiro Arixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotland 1873's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kayserispor the free kick. In the 61st minute, Casimiro Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Ziya Erdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuz Bülent Akduman had several of the Scotland 1873's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Breno Bastos as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Pelayo in the 75th minute of play forced Kayserispor's goalkeeper Doğan Alemdar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğan Alemdar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Gonzo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğan Alemdar saved Kayserispor from getting behind. In the 83rdth minute of the game Leonel Gonzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kayserispor's Doğan Alemdar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Leocadio in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğan Alemdar saved Kayserispor from getting behind. In the 86th minute Ermegildo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğan Alemdar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Leocadio came free, but Doğan Alemdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
