Genaro Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scotland 1873. After 6 played minutes Echegoyen AFC got a freekick which was hit by German Guillelmus. After 8 played minutes, Scotland 1873's Leonel Gonzo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genaro Iraitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scotland 1873 reached it. Breno Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Yang Xi in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Gong Yang Xi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Echegoyen AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Genaro Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Casimiro Arixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Iraitz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Genaro Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Gonzo in the 14th minute of the match. Breno Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Bilbo in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Casimiro Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes, Bonifacio Argider mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Echegoyen AFC and the Scotland 1873 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Echegoyen AFC's Bonifacio Argider got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Genaro Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Arixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Ermegildo Leocadio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Iraitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Breno Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Bilbo in the 34th minute. Scotland 1873's Breno Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Yang Xi in the 36th minute of play. Breno Bastos was a little too slow when Bonifacio Argider got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Echegoyen AFC's Genaro Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Arixo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Leonel Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Arixo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gonzo came free, but Genaro Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Leocadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Genaro Iraitz made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Bonifacio Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Casimiro Arixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Iraitz. Echegoyen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Arixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Genaro Iraitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Arixo in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Gong Yang Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Santiago Bilbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Breno Bastos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Leocadio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genaro Iraitz. Ermegildo Leocadio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. Scotland 1873's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
