Horacio Ishmael was a little too slow when Raimundo Castulo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. Enrique Txomin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Valentine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Piernas Locas Crane FC's zone, Lavan Querubin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Ishmael came out of the goal and Lavan Querubin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Castulo came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horacio Ishmael could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Piernas Locas Crane FC's goalkeeper Horacio Ishmael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Castulo. After 24 played minutes Piernas Locas Crane FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Cortez. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Laureano Amato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Piernas Locas Crane FC were awarded a corner. Americo Millan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Piernas Locas Crane FC's Americo Millan to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonides Valentine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nunez Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ishmael having to interfere. After some careless play in the Piernas Locas Crane FC defense, Raimundo Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Ishmael. The Piernas Locas Crane FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Ishmael should have stopped the shot. In the 41stth minute of the game Laureano Amato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
