Genaro Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th minute, Simon Gahnsby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Iraitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Genaro Iraitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Gahnsby went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Simon Gahnsby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Iraitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Gahnsby in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Iraitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genaro Iraitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Gahnsby's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Genaro Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Gahnsby in the 29th minute of the match. Sixto Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Yang Xi in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Valeriu Hoisie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Gahnsby in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Gong Yang Xi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Simon Gahnsby scored 0-6 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Iraitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Simon Gahnsby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echegoyen AFC's Genaro Iraitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simon Gahnsby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Iraitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Simon Gahnsby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Iraitz was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Tomas Ennegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Genaro Iraitz made a huge save. Echegoyen AFC's Genaro Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Gahnsby in the 79th minute of play. Genaro Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Gahnsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Gahnsby in the 84th minute of play forced Echegoyen AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Romildo during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Echegoyen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Romildo. Gerardo Romildo was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Echegoyen AFC's zone, Du Xiang Yue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Iraitz came out of the goal and Du Xiang Yue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Gahnsby came free, but Genaro Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Bodil United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Echegoyen AFC.
