In the 22nd minute William Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aílton Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Atlético São Sebastião were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Agro Imortal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celestino Arnalt took the corner. The corner led Atlético São Sebastião's Celestino Arnalt to fire away a dangerous shot which Aílton Fernandez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Delfim da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim da Costa couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Delfim da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qu Feng Bin. Atlético São Sebastião's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 47 played minutes Atlético São Sebastião got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Goiano. Agro Imortal's Harry Stanley got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Delfim da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Delfim da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qu Feng Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Aílton Fernandez made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Delfim da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agro Imortal's Hector Sarmiento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Qu Feng Bin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qu Feng Bin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Agro Imortal were victorious despite being under pressure from Atlético São Sebastião for much of the match.
