The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Eustacio Hotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heidemann FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Teixeira in the 11th minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Heidemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Fernandez came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Eustacio Hotz. But to his dismay, Eustacio Hotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Heidemann FC - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Eustacio Hotz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Hotz came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Eustacio Hotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heidemann FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Eustacio Hotz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Aílton Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 59th match minute, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Garrincha to maneuver through the defense. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Luiz Heidemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim da Costa in the 60th minute of play. Agro Imortal made a substitution. Valdir de Amorim replaced Harry Stanley. A nice corner shot did that Manoel Aguiar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Heidemann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Afonsinho Barros hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Aílton Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 82nd minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Heidemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Afonsinho Barros got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Hotz came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agro Imortal's attentive Valdir de Amorim managed to snatch the ball when Mauro Monteiro made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Heidemann FC - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Agro Imortal.
