After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Ernani Baiano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Lindner F.C's Elliott Virgin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Toscano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dalmo Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ismael Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Toscano made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jeremias Salles sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Munhoz having to interfere. Jeremias Salles hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Lindner F.C defense, Lucas Beltran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matheus Munhoz. The Lindner F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matheus Munhoz should have stopped the shot. Ismael Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Salles in the 18th minute of play. Cléberson Fantini took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matheus Munhoz. Matheus Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Matheus Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, Crisólia FBPA's Lucas Beltran made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matheus Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Beltran made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Crisólia FBPA! The corner went over the outstretched arms of Crisólia FBPA's goalie and right to Charlie Alfonso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Crisólia FBPA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ismael Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Salles in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Rony Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lindner F.C booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lindner F.C's Marcinho Sena was substituted for Dalmo Dracena. Ismael Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Roșeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crisólia FBPA's Rony Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Gelu Roșeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindner F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Roșeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when Lindner F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yosif Vrúbchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Crisólia FBPA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Crisólia FBPA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
