Internazionale-RS were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after LauerArmy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Batiste Carrez took the corner. 9 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Cabral came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Murilo Cabral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Neubrandt. Murilo Cabral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Cabral in the 21st minute of play. Dida Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Lynch in the 26th minute of the match. Dida Nascimento came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Internazionale-RS's Rogelio Lynch. But to his dismay, Rogelio Lynch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 35thth minute of the game Rogelio Lynch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Batiste Carrez took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Nascimento. Dida Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Lynch in the 45th minute of play. Juarês Salles's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juarês Salles helped the player get up and apologised. Juarês Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arí Pereira made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Alan Tavares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dida Nascimento, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dany-Adams De Scheper in the 57th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alan Tavares could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Dida Nascimento however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Rogelio Lynch sped through LauerArmy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Nascimento. LauerArmy made a substitution. Torsten Henning replaced Didier Drogba. In the 66th minute Murilo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Neubrandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Jorge-Luis Pereira got a free kick in the 70th minute. LauerArmy's Gilvan Queirós was substituted for Frédson de Almeida. Internazionale-RS made a substitution. Yanek Krunev replaced Alan Tavares. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jorge-Luis Pereira hit a great ball. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Pereira in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. João Pedro Marquez hit a great ball. Rogelio Lynch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LauerArmy's Konstanty Kojder quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carlos Alberto Trigo, made in the 82nd minute of the game. After 89 played minutes LauerArmy got a freekick which was hit by Yani Shtonov. With a little luck, LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento got control of the ball when Yanek Krunev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dida Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yanek Krunev in the 90th minute. LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save LauerArmy from getting a goal against them. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Kock in the 95th minute of play. The Internazionale-RS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
