Kees Mooiweer made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lars Meesters immediately put the ball in play. Gordon Suarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gordon Suarez in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Maxin Oces got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gordon Suarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gordon Suarez. Paulin Sequeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Roberto Sarri hit a great ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vanadio F.C.. 42 minutes in the game Kees Mooiweer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Servando Ariztimuño hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of the match. Bekir Çağan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vanadio F.C.'s Leizarraga Olmedo was substituted for Roberto Sarri. Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulin Sequeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Wim Wilmes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulin Sequeiros. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Paulin Sequeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bekir Çağan hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulin Sequeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Paulin Sequeiros to make any attempt to save it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulin Sequeiros came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. Paulin Sequeiros was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4.
