The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbert Benkó in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şerif Nesil saved Liverpool F.C. YNWA from getting behind. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Maurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Louis Braadbøl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Färid Mondragón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Şumălan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Braadbøl in the 16th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Färid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerif Nesil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbert Benkó in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Korpetis came free, but Färid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şerif Nesil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rivaldo Esquerdo in the 25th minute of the match. Róbert Benkó struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Şerif Nesil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada. 38 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Braadbøl came free, but Färid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Róbert Benkó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbert Benkó to make the kick off. Şerif Nesil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Benkó in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Rivaldo Esquerdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Nesil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Korpetis came free, but Färid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Färid Mondragón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigoris Korpetis went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Thomas Sgouros replaced Ion Hritcu. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ronaldinho Gaucho was substituted for Louis Braadbøl. In the 67th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rivaldo Esquerdo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Benkó didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Liverpool F.C. YNWA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Armada.
